Texas city to build $17.5M reclaimed water pipeline

City officials are planning a $17.5 million pipeline for reclaimed water in Austin, Texas. The pipeline will provide the University of Texas with partially treated water for cooling systems and irrigation. City officials estimate the installation of the line will conserve up to 10% of Austin's drinking water by 2034.
