BP is elusive about Macondo well's flow rates, Justice Dept. says

The Department of Justice alleges that BP is failing to sufficiently supply data about oil that spilled from its Macondo well in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2010. The data is considered important for determining penalties against the company. The company's witnesses in an oil spill trial weren't prepared to answer key questions, said Sarah Himmelhoch, a Justice Department lawyer.
