More schools will integrate tablet computers in 2014 and adopt a la carte learning, says Jeff Borden, vice president of instruction and academic strategy and director for the Center for Online Learning at Pearson. He also states in this blog post that "constructivism" -- flipped instruction, project-based and challenge-based learning, and more -- will rule in classrooms in 2014. In addition, more schools will adopt competency-based programs, rather than those that measure seat time, he predicts.
