Carriers make year-end push to expand 3G networks

AT&T and Verizon Wireless have worked overtime during the holidays to complete 3G network builds by year-end, according to a report that chronicles the carriers' push. AT&T focused largely on smaller markets in the pre-Christmas week while Verizon Wireless completed a suite of 3G work in the Northeast.
