Maine project to provide tech internships for students

Citing a growing disparity between available jobs requiring technical skills and the shortage of students being trained for those careers, Maine's business community and educational institutions are working together to boost tech training throughout the state. Companies plan to offer paid internships, and the University of Maine system plans to increase the number of students in its computer science and technology programs in the next few years.
