JWT: Food ads will embrace the mess next year

Advertisements for food will focus on imperfect, hand-crafted creations next year, extending a trend that is already present in Domino's artisan pizzas and Oscar Mayer's Carving Board line, according to JWT's 2014 trends report. "Imperfection and even outright ugliness ... are taking on new appeal in a world that's become neatly polished and curated," according to the report.
