Congress is being urged by the leaders of 10 minority-serving institutions to invest more in the Pell Grant program. In a letter, the presidents and chancellors said the current maximum grant does not cover college costs and they asked lawmakers to increase funding to ensure access for everyone, "but particularly for those with the lowest incomes."
