Target has launched more than 175 capsule collections with high-end designers or brands since 1999, including its latest line from British brand Hunter, whose iconic rain boots normally sell for $150. Such partnerships offer cachet to Target, but the biggest benefit is that they drive shoppers into stores where they tend to shop for other goods as well, Forrester Analyst Sucharita Kodali said.
