FCC's "Restoring Internet Freedom" proposal

On Thursday, the Federal Communications Commission voted to adopt a proposal, "Restoring Internet Freedom," which seeks comment on how the agency should treat broadband internet service in a dynamic, innovative online environment. "This rulemaking wisely focuses this debate and puts a pro-consumer, pro-innovation and pro-investment policy trifecta within our reach," said USTelecom CEO Jonathan Spalter in a statement. The internet is a central, driving force for our modern economy and there is a smarter path forward.
