Verizon has named Kyle Malady as interim chief technology officer, succeeding Hans Vestberg, who is moving into the CEO post. The telecom released few details about Malady, who will oversee Verizon's extensive fiber deployment and 5G network upgrade under the company's $17.6 billion capital spending plan this year.
