Sprint will contribute its Magic Box small cells and other connectivity technology to BOSS Controls' energy-as-a-service project, which is part of Pittsburgh's smart city effort. The Sprint cells will work with Wi-Fi service and LTE modems to link about 100 buildings in an effort to save power and cut energy costs in the city.
