The FDA has given Stimwave Technologies clearance to market its StimQ Peripheral Nerve Stimulator System, a wireless MRI-compatible neuromodulation device indicated for providing relief of chronic peripheral nerve pain. The device, which is intended for treating shoulder pain, mid- and lower back pain, and neuropathy of the upper and lower extremities, uses a multielectrode programmable device to deliver stimulation to the targeted peripheral nerves.
