Johnson & Johnson subsidiary DePuy Synthes agreed to exclusively co-market Medical Enterprises Distribution's ME1000 surgical impactor starting this quarter. The device, which is compatible with DePuy's hip systems, is intended for substituting hand-held mallets in total hip arthroplasty procedures and automating bone preparation, implant positioning and assembly through the delivery of constant, stable energy.
