A round of Series A financing led by Chinese health care-focused investment fund Huayi Capital pulled in $17 million for Beijing-based Symbow Medical, a company that makes a surgical navigation device for use with magnetic resonance or CT equipment to deliver 3D or 2D imaging of the human body. The company's device also automatically tracks, calibrates and takes images of surgical instruments.
