Thirty-two state-run Medicaid programs have decided to cover Acessa Health's Acessa procedure, which uses the Acessa System to treat uterine fibroids as a uterine-sparing alternative to hysterectomy. The coverage expansion adds 20 million to the number of women who can be treated with the system, making the procedure available to more than 70 million patients.
