A round of funding has pulled in about $16 million for Finland-based Blueprint Genetics, a company that makes genetic tests based on its OS-Seq targeted sequencing technology and its CLINT artificial intelligence platform. The proceeds will be used for company expansion, as well as to boost sales, support continued product development, improve the sequencing platform's efficiency and widen the company's geographic footprint.
