Data from a prospective registry study involving information from 1,835 patients presented at the Heart Rhythm Society's annual scientific sessions showed use of Medtronic's AdaptivCRT algorithm was tied to a relative reduction of 31% in all-cause mortality, compared with the use of standard cardiac resynchronization therapy devices. The algorithm is intended to provide personalization of CRT, making adjustments to the implanted CRT devices' process of pacing based on the assessments of a patient's cardiac rhythm.
Data show positive results for Medtronic's AdaptivCRT algorithm
