HemoSonics President and CEO Timothy Fischer said the Charlottesville, Va.-based company, which has been acquired by French company Stago Group, intends to continue its expansion in Durham, N.C., and it has signed a lease for a manufacturing space in the city. The company, which is also looking to hire more employees in North Carolina, is conducting FDA registration studies for its Quantra Hemostasis Analyzer and expects to commercialize the product in 2018.
