The FDA has granted Stryker 510(k) clearance for its MultiGen 2 radiofrequency energy generator, a device intended for use in radiofrequency ablation procedures. The device, developed with twice the industry standard for power, enables clinicians to resolve errors without having to pause the procedure and make strip lesions without the need for electrode removal.
