Five-year data from a 340-patient study in the Journal of Urology showed that the use of Medtronic's InterStim neuromodulation treatment for overactive bladder syndrome demonstrated a therapeutic success rate of 82% based on a completers analysis and 67% based on a modified completers analysis. Use of the device also led to a mean reduction of two leaks per day for urinary incontinence participants and a mean reduction of 5.4 voids per day for urgency-frequency subjects.
Data show positive results for Medtronic's InterStim device
