A round of equity financing involving 13 anonymous investors has pulled in $7.3 million for Irvine, Calif.-based LensGen, according to a filing with the SEC. The company, which makes the Juvene accommodating intraocular lens for vision restoration in patients with cataracts and presbyopia, still seeks to raise $22.7 million in the round.
