Menlo Park, Calif.-based Earlens has obtained $118 million in funding, with up to $45 million coming from a structured debt facility with CRG and $73 million raised in a round of Series C financing involving Medtronic and other investors. The money will be used to commercialize the Earlens Light-Driven Hearing Aid, as well as to scale up manufacturing and support research and development efforts.
