A round of Series C financing involving Smith & Nephew and other investors has brought in $19.3 million for King of Prussia, Pa.-based Trice Medical, which makes the mi-eye 2 camera-enabled technology for in-office diagnosis of joint injuries. The proceeds will be used for US commercial expansion for the device, as well as to support research and development, marketing, sales and global regulatory approvals.
