An offering of convertible notes involving the Crystal Amber Fund has pulled in $5 million for GI Dynamics. In connection with the funding, the Australian Securities Exchange granted the company a waiver allowing it to raise more capital before the first quarter of 2018 to support its business plan, as well as for repaying the notes, discharging the security and financing its operations.
