The EU has given Irish medtech company Altratech about $3.37 million in funding under the Horizon 2020 program. The firm, which is developing a point-of-care test kit for infectious viral diseases, has also obtained approximately $2.47 million in a funding round led by the Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Growth Fund and Cyril McGuire's Infinity Capital.
