A round of equity financing involving 34 anonymous sources has pulled in $11.2 million for Santa Rosa, Calif.-based Claret Medical, an SEC filing showed. The company, which makes the Sentinel embolic protection device for filtering out blood clots and preventing stroke in heart valve replacement procedures, did not disclose how it intends to use the proceeds and still seeks to obtain $6.5 million in the round.
