Boston Scientific has obtained CE mark approval from European regulators for its Vercise Gevia Deep Brain Stimulation System, a rechargeable, MRI-compatible platform that delivers precise neural targeting for treating movement disorder symptoms in Parkinson's disease, essential tremor and primary and secondary dystonia. The system comes with new programming software that enables visualization of the stimulation field to allow personalization of therapy.
