Redmond, Wash.-based VerAvanti has raised $5 million in a round of funding to support its development of products for stroke prevention and treatment of cardiac conditions. The startup is developing the Scanning Fiber Endoscope, its first product that comes with an imaging station and a small catheter for capturing HD-quality images.
