The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has granted W.L. Gore & Associates approval for its Gore Excluder iliac branch endoprosthesis, which is approved for endovascular treatment of patients with common iliac artery aneurysms or aortoiliac aneurysms. It is Japan's first device approved for that indication.
