DJO Global launched a randomized, double-blind study for a new indication of its CMF OL1000 Bone Growth Stimulator, a combined magnetic field technology. The trial, which started enrollment in January, seeks to evaluate use of the device as a noninvasive adjunctive treatment for patients who have sustained closed, unstable ankle fractures that need stabilization surgery.
