A round of seed financing led by Kurma Diagnostics pulled in approximately $5.4 million for Sensome, a French company that is developing a microsensor technology for integration with smart medical devices. The proceeds will be used to advance its first product, an integration of its technology and a guidewire for ischemic stroke treatment, toward clinical trials.
