Mobile shoppers want in-app experiences from retail brands

Retail brands that use Facebook and Instagram to engage with mobile consumers must also offer apps to improve the digital buying experience, writes Greg Shepard. Criteo reports that 54% of mobile purchases per retail brand are now made via apps, and a UPS study discovered that 53% of mobile shoppers check in using social media and that 64% of mobile shoppers used a retailer app.
