Outgoing Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt offered Utah oil and natural gas producers relief from Obama-era ozone pollution rules, according to emails obtained by the Sierra Club in a lawsuit. The standards were "entirely unfair" in restricting oil and natural gas production in Utah, said Ryan Jackson, Pruitt's chief of staff, adding that the EPA may revise the rule.
