The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday will open up for public comment the action of easing children's programming regulations that were enacted in the 1990s. Advocacy groups have voiced concerns over the proposed changes, but the FCC's Michael O'Rielly has written, "With today's dynamic media marketplace there are very little, if any, additional benefits provided by the Kid Vid rules."
