The Federal Communications Commission's Incentive Auction Task Force and Media Bureau has granted a request from 20 TV station in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands to construct post-auction facilities ahead of schedule after damage from Hurricanes Irma and Maria. "[W]e're taking another important step to expedite the restoration of vital communications services," FCC Chairman Ajit Pai said of the move.
