Disney and 21st Century Fox are close to an agreement under which Disney would acquire Fox's production and television assets in a transaction worth more than $60 billion, sources familiar with the matter said. Fox would keep its general and business news operations, broadcast network and Fox sports. Meanwhile, some are speculating about whether the deal could ultimately lead to James Murdoch succeeding Bob Iger as Disney CEO.
