Education experts in West Virginia say learning a foreign language has many benefits for the youngest of students, including ease in language acquisition, opportunities to learn about other cultures and expanded career options. Three elementary schools in the state offer up to 90 minutes a week of Spanish instruction using Foreign Language in Early Schooling.
