The price of health care is not strongly linked to patients' perceptions of their quality of care, according to a study published in Health Affairs. The study of Medicare patients found those treated at high-price practices reported better coordination and management of care and shorter waiting times, but their perception of value was similar to that of patients in lower-price practices in the same regions.
