Two weeks of inactivity can lead to less muscle, more fat

Research at the European Congress on Obesity found young, healthy individuals can start losing muscle and developing fat around their organs after just two weeks of a sedentary lifestyle. Lead researcher Kelly Bowden-Davies at the University of Liverpool said individuals who returned to having an active lifestyle saw these changes reversed within two weeks.
