HHS Secretary Alex Azar said the government's push to collect information on health care quality should not mean clinicians, payers and others spend so much time gathering data that it interferes with actually improving quality. "Let's make sure it's the information that really matters; let's have the minimal necessary reporting burden to get the job done to ensure we're providing actionable information for decision-makers for quality, price and value," Azar said at a media briefing.
