Magellan Midstream Partners has launched an open season to assess customer interest in a proposed pipeline connecting the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford Shale to markets in Houston and Corpus Christi, Texas. The 375-mile pipeline is expected to cost more than $1 billion to build and its capacity will likely range between 350,000 barrels per day and a maximum of 600,000 barrels per day.
