America's Gulf Coast liquefied natural gas sector is expanding faster than the overall market, meaning that some of the 17 LNG projects that are under construction or awaiting approval will inevitably fail, according to Wood Mackenzie. If all of these terminals were to come online, LNG production could increase to four times its current level.
