The US Northeast, including the Appalachian region, should see its natural gas pipeline capacity expand by more than 3 billion cubic feet per day by the end of the first quarter, compared with an increase of 2.3 billion cubic feet last quarter. The projects that will contribute to the increase include Columbia Gas Transmission's Leach XPress pipeline, Energy Transfer Partners' Rover pipeline and Spectra Energy's Atlantic Bridge pipeline.
