Canada's House of Commons Standing Committee on Natural Resources has recommended that the country's government support the nuclear energy industry, including the development of small modular reactors, fusion reactors and integrated molten salt reactors. "Based on our study, it is clear that the federal government, working with partners in industry and other levels of government, can and must ensure that the future of the Canadian nuclear sector remain supported," said Committee Chairman James Maloney.
