Southern Co. is pleased that Toshiba has agreed to pay $3.68 billion to aid in the completion of two new reactors at Plant Vogtle, according to Southern Chairman, President and CEO Thomas Fanning. "We are happy to have Toshiba's cooperation in connection with this agreement, which provides a strong foundation for the future of these nuclear power plants," Fanning said.
