The Supreme Court ruled Monday that Ohio's method of purging its voter rolls complies with the National Voter Registration Act. Justice Samuel Alito wrote that the state's multistep process for clearing its voter rolls of those who have moved since the last election uses methods other than voter inactivity, in accordance with federal law.
