A judge Friday found a Massachusetts woman guilty of involuntary manslaughter in her boyfriend's suicide, which she had encouraged in text messages to him. The American Civil Liberties Union said the verdict runs afoul of free-speech protections and could deter people from talking about end-of-life plans.
