The four justices on West Virginia's Supreme Court of Appeals were named in articles of impeachment approved on Tuesday by the state House Judiciary Committee, which alleged "maladministration, corruption, incompetency, neglect of duty, and certain high crimes and misdemeanors." Justice Menis Ketchum had resigned just ahead of the impeachment proceedings, which could lead ultimately to a trial before the state Senate.
