The American Civil Liberties Union on Wednesday filed a lawsuit accusing the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority of infringing upon First Amendment rights in rejecting advertisements "intended to influence members of the public regarding an issue on which there are varying opinions." Among the plaintiffs are conservative author Milo Yiannopoulos, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and abortion provider Carafem.
