Nexus Gas Transmission received the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's approval Wednesday to begin construction on its $2.1 billion natural gas pipeline, which will transport up to 1.5 billion cubic feet of gas daily to Ohio, Michigan and Canada from the Utica and Marcellus shales. Construction on the 255-mile pipeline will start this month, with completion expected within about 10 months.
